Tournament: competition instead of a personal bonus

Tournament (leaderboard promotion) is a competition between players for a prize pool: points are awarded for play on selected games, and the top-ranked players win prizes. It gives active players a reason to play without personal bonuses.

A multiplier levels the field: an x500 win on a €0.20 stake and on a €5 stake gives the same points. Set a minimum bet so that points cannot be farmed with minimum-stake spins.

Own and network tournaments

  • Own tournament: the casino pays the prize pool, and it counts towards Bonus Rate.
  • Provider network tournament: the pool is funded by the provider, and the casino gets a ready-made event for its players.

Who it suits

Active players who deposit without being prompted: they do not need a personal bonus, but they need a reason. Recreational players like tournaments with many prize places and clear rules.

Common mistakes

  • Points for turnover with no limits. The tournament turns into a betting race.
  • Prizes only for the top three. Everyone else quickly sees they have no chance and drops out.
  • The leaderboard is not visible. The player's position and the gap to a prize place should be on the tournament page and in the game, otherwise there is no competition.
