Loyalty programme: levels and rewards for everyone

A loyalty programme is a system of levels and rewards for all players: points for bets, statuses, cashback or rakeback and bonuses for reaching a new level. It gives players a reason to come back without a personal bonus.

How it works

  • Points: earned for real-money bets, for example 1 point for every €10 of turnover.
  • Levels: the more points, the higher the status and the better the terms.
  • Rewards: a level-up bonus, cashback or rakeback, a reward shop.

What drives it

The main thing is not money but a sense of progress. The player sees how far it is to the next level and comes back so as not to lose their progress. That is why the progress bar should be visible in the player's account and in emails.

Loyalty and VIP

A loyalty programme is the same for everyone and runs automatically. A VIP programme is a hands-on service for a small group of the most valuable players. The top loyalty levels often serve as the entry point to VIP.

Common mistakes

  • Points are worth nothing. If the reward is not visible and it is unclear how to get it, the programme does not change behaviour.
  • Unreachable levels. A player should reach their first new level within the first weeks.
  • Not counting the cost. All programme rewards go into the Bonus Rate along with the other bonuses.
