• Personal: an offer to a specific player for a reason. A broken deposit rhythm, a return from churn, a birthday.

Who needs it

An active player who deposits on their own does not need a personal reload: they would have deposited without the bonus. The site-wide offer, tournaments and missions are enough for them. A personal bonus for such a player is a pure cost.

If a player asks for a bonus in chat, support can offer a deposit bonus: that is a sale, not a giveaway.

Terms

• Minimum and maximum deposit, percentage and cap.
• Wagering requirement and a wagering period to match it.
• For high rollers, lower wagering but a tighter cap on winnings from the bonus.

Common mistakes

• A scheduled reload for everyone. Players who would have deposited anyway get the bonus too. Test the effect against a control group.
• Pushing up the deposit for churned players. Bring them back on their previous terms. Grow the deposit only for active players.
