Tasks
- Early contact: reach a future VIP in the first week, based on the size of the first deposits and the stake, not three months later.
- Service: fast withdrawals, higher limits, priority support.
- Checks: warn about KYC and source of funds checks in advance and walk the player through them personally.
- Offers: choose the reason, the channel and the moment. Cashback, rakeback, gifts, bonuses with low wagering and a strict win cap.
Freedom and rules
The manager decides when, through which channel and with what reason to reach out to the player. Wagering, the win cap, limits and the budget, however, are the same for everyone. Otherwise the cost of the VIP programme depends on the mood of a particular manager.
KPIs
- Portfolio NGR and its change month by month.
- VIP retention and the return of lapsed VIPs.
- Reinvestment rate: how much of the portfolio's revenue went back to players.
- Speed of response and resolution.
Common mistakes
- The manager as a bonus dispenser. Without an NGR KPI, bonuses grow faster than revenue.
- No player handover. A manager's holiday or departure leaves VIPs without a contact.
- Missing risk signs. Rising stakes can be a problem, not value. Such signals are checked before any offer.
